4 jeunes gens forment un groupe, Stuck in the sound, en 2002 autour de leur passion commune : le must de la scène rock anglo-saxonne de ces dernières décennies : Led Zeppelin, Pixies, Smashing Pumpkins, R.E.M....
Basé en région parisienne, le quatuor composé de José Reis Fontao (chant, guitare), Emmanuel Barichasse (guitare électrique), Arno Bordas (basse) et François Ernie (batterie, choeur) part à l'assaut de la capitale et de sa banlieue pour faire vivre leurs compositions sur scène. En parallèle, le groupe produit plusieurs maquettes avant de délivrer il y a quelques mois leur premier album éponyme. Simultanément à la sortie de cet album, le groupe a terminé 2° du concours CQFD 2005 organisé par les Inrockuptibles, affaire à suivre donc...
Suite à la sortie de son premier album "Nevermind the living dead", le groupe donne une cinquantaine de concerts en 2005 (à Rock En Seine, Le Bruit De Melun, ...). Novembre 2006, Stuck In The Sound sort son deuxième album "Nevermind the living dead" via Discograph (entre autres Kill The Young, Aaron, The Elderberries, Cocoon). Le groupe retrouve le chemin des salles au printemps et se produira lors des festivals tels que les Eurocks, le Paléo, Solidays ou les Vieilles Charrues durant l'été 2007.
